Who Owns Tiffin Motorhomes?
In December 2020, Thor Industries acquired the Tiffin Group. This is the most recent addition to the Thor Industries family of brands. Before this acquisition, Tiffin operated independently for almost 50 years.
Even with the purchase, Tiffin is still a family-run business, with Bob Tiffin’s sons Tim, Van, and Lex now carrying on the family legacy.

Where Are Tiffin Motorhomes Built?
The Tiffin Belmont Factory is in Belmont, Mississippi. The Wayfarer Plant is in Winfield, Alabama. Additionally, they have a third factory in Red Bay, Alabama.

What Does a Tiffin Cost?
The MSRP for the smallest model, the Class B Wayfarer, comes in around $200,000. The more luxurious class A models like a Phaeton and an Allegro Red will cost about twice as much.
A new Phaeton costs just under $500,000, and a new Allegro Red costs over $300,000. And the Allegro Bus will cost over $525,000.

Tiffin Motorhomes Product Line
Let’s look at the Tiffin product line: the Allegro, Phaeton, Zephyr, Cahaba, and Wayfarer. All class A RVs come with a 10-year or 50,000-mile limited warranty. They also have a five-year or 50,000-mile delamination limited warranty, and one year of coach roadside service.
Allegro Line
The Allegro line features several different motorhomes. It includes the Allegro Breeze, Allegro RED, Open Road Allegro, and Allegro Bus.
The Allegro Breeze is the smallest rear-engine diesel motorhome in the industry. It measures between 32 and 33 ft.
And it features a PowerGlide Chassis for the perfect ride, a 5,000 lb hitch rating, and a Truma gas continuous water heater. The Allegro Breeze has all of the comforts of home.
Allegro RED has two models, the Allegro RED 340 and the Allegro RED 360. The Allegro RED 340 is Tiffin’s entry-level Class A motorhome, coming in under $300,000. Both models have an overall length between 35 and 40 ft.
The Allegro RED 340 and the Allegro RED 360 feature the Freightliner RoadWatch Safety Suite and an 8kw Onan generator. The Allegro RED 360 models also feature a 10,000 lb hitch rating and luxurious tile floor as upgrades.
Tiffin’s first motorhome, the Open Road Allegro, is another good option for first-time RV owners with an MSRP of around $250,000. It measures between 34 and 38 ft long. These models feature hydraulic automatic leveling jacks, a Ford V8 7.3L 350 HP engine, and the Spyder Multiplex System with app compatibility.
Finally, the Allegro Bus is the largest option and the one many full-time travelers choose. Some models are up to 45 ft long. These stunning coaches feature four HDTVs, including one outside. It also has high-end appliances, a 450 HP Cummins L9 engine, and a 10kw quiet diesel generator.
Phaeton
The Phaeton line has standard luxurious features, upscale amenities, and with seven floorplans, every type of traveler can find a model.
These units come equipped with a 10.0kw Onan manual slide-out generator, porcelain tile floor, Girard power awning and door awnings, and ultra-leather furniture. The Phaeton also offers seven premium paint schemes for a stunning exterior.

Zephyr
The Zephyr is the most luxurious class A motorhome. The Zephyr, built on a PowerGlide Chassis, also comes equipped with a 20,000 lb hitch rating. This RV provides the perfect ride and high-class style.
Highlights of this unit include a 360-degree view camera system, blind-spot monitoring, quartz countertops, and a lithium battery option. Additionally, the Zephyr comes with four different premium paint schemes.
Cahaba
Featuring the Volta battery system, the Cahaba has everything you need for off-grid camping without the need for a generator.
And if you have bikes you need to transport, you may love the rear-door mounted MOLLE gear rack with an attached bike rack.
The standard floorplan features opposing rear benches that convert into a bed. Optional furniture includes a tri-fold sofa bed. The Cahaba also comes equipped with a wet bath, perfect for weekend getaways.
Wayfarer
Finally, the Class C Wayfarer comes equipped with a Mercedes-Benz chassis, a standard 3.2kw diesel generator, and a hydraulic leveling system. It also has a solid surface galley and bathroom countertops and a 5,000 lb hitch capacity.
The five floorplans provide options for twin or queen bed sleeping spaces. Four floorplans feature one slide-out, while the 25 SW features two slides for even more room.
And you can choose from six premium paint schemes on all models. The Wayfarer comes with a one-year or 12,000-miles limited warranty and a three-year delamination limited warranty.

The Brand New Super C by Tiffin: The Allegro Bay
The newest luxury motorhome added to the Tiffin product line is the Super C Allegro Bay. Built on a Freightliner custom chassis, this Super C is the first of its kind added to the Tiffin lineup.
Additionally, the full-time traction control eliminates wheel spin when in less than ideal weather. The sloped dashboard helps reduce blind spots.
It features a Truma AquaGo Comfort instant water heater, a 12,000 lb towing capacity, and a 150-gallon freshwater tank. And you have the option to upgrade to lithium-ion house batteries.
Finally, you can choose between two floorplans. The 38 AB has two sofas and a booth dinette in the living area. The 38 BB has a larger rear bathroom, one sofa, and a booth dinette.
What Is the Top of the Line Tiffin Motorhome?
The Zephyr is by far the most luxurious Class A motorhome. The interior of the Zephyr is spacious with 7 ft ceilings and four slides.
Additionally, the fireplace in the master bedroom, full-length rear wardrobe, and double vanity make the sleeping space functional and comfortable.
