So, who are the owners of this large, famous RV brand? We’ve done the work to find out for you!

What Is MORryde?
While many in camping circles know MORryde as an RV brand, they’re much more than that. They’re an engineering and manufacturing brand that creates custom solutions for various industries. Their most popular product lines are for recreational vehicle suspension systems. However, they have a variety of products in numerous segments.
The brand was started in 1966 and has earned a reputation for its high-quality, durable components. While it had a humble start, it has grown into a massive company. They have a more than 900,00 square foot plant facility and employ more than 1,000 workers.
Who Owns MORryde?
Bob Moore, Sr. launched MORryde in 1966 in Elkhart, Indiana. He saw and took the opportunity to jump into a booming RV market. Little did he know that his tiny company would grow into a massive player in the RV game.
Bob Moore Sr. retired in 1985 and enjoyed traveling and spending his glory years in Sarasota, Florida. His sons, Rodney and Bob Moore, Jr., took over as owners and continue to run things today.
Sadly, Bob Moore Sr. passed away on February 21, 2021, as a result of complications from ALS.
Where Are MORryde Components Made?
MORryde manufactures its components in Elkhart, Indiana. As the company has numerous product lines, it’s no surprise they have several manufacturing plants. However, their location is purposeful and is likely a reason for their tremendous success.
If you’re not aware, many consider Elkhart, Indiana, to be the RV capital of the world. This is because almost every major RV brand and manufacturer has a presence there. As a result, they can work directly with manufacturers and reduce costs.
