Forest River’s Rockwood Ultra Lite 2892RB has a large bunkhouse in the rear with an ensuite half-bath. The bunk room has two top bunks and a sofa that converts into a sleeper.
The fifth wheel is 36’ 6” long. It features a large indoor and outdoor kitchen. And the front main bedroom has a large wardrobe on a slide-out and a full bathroom.
Kid-Friendly Features: The private rear bunk room with a bathroom gives your kids a place to get away for some quiet. Additionally, the fifth wheel has two large pantries and plenty of storage for a family.
Travel Trailer: Keystone Hideout 28BHSWE
Keystone’s Hideout 28BHSWE is a 32’ 9” travel trailer with a dry weight of 6,731 lbs. It has two 32”x74” bunk beds in the back, with a bathroom next to it.
The living area features a sofa sleeper and a u-shaped dinette that converts to a bed. And the master bedroom in the front of the trailer has a queen-sized, walk-around bed with two wardrobes. It also has an entertainment center with a fireplace.
Kid-Friendly Features: The Hideout 28BHSWE RV has large bunk beds that open into the living area. If you travel with young children, this is an ideal setup to check in on them when napping or during the night.
Teardrop Trailer: Braxton Creek Bushwhacker Plus 17 BH
Finding a bunkhouse teardrop trailer model may surprise you. Braxton Creek pulled it off with the Bushwhacker Plus 17 BH.
The 18’ trailer features two bunk beds in the front and a u-shaped dinette in the back that converts into an additional bed. Additionally, it has a wet bath, a small kitchenette, and air conditioning.
Kid-Friendly Features: While the Bushwhacker Plus 17 BH doesn’t have much room inside, having a wet bath in a small trailer is ideal for traveling with kids. It’s one of our favorite features in this teardrop trailer.
Class A: Jayco Alante 29F
The Jayco Alante 29F is a 32’ 2” long class A motorhome. This RV features bunk beds in the rear by the master bedroom. Additionally, each bunk has a TV.
The Alante also has a drop-down bunk over the cab. The motorhome has one full bathroom and a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a large wardrobe. You’ll find a kitchen, couch, and dinette in the living area.
Kid-Friendly Features: Your kids will love the TVs in the bunk beds to keep them entertained on a rainy day. And when traveling, the kids can sit seat belted in the dinette or on the sofa.
Class B: Pleasure-Way Tofino
Pleasure-Way’s Tofino has a surprising amount of room and sleeping space for a class B motorhome. The van’s pop-up top roof lifts to expose an overhead 49”x72” bunk.
And the sofa below converts into a queen-size bed. Additionally, the Tofino has a table, kitchen, and the driver and passenger seats swivel to face the living area.
Kid-Friendly Features: The overhead bunk includes a USB charging port, light controls, and zipper vents. Your kids can stay comfortable in this bunk and feel on top of the world as they sleep on the roof.
Class C: Jayco Redhawk 31F
The Jayco Redhawk 31F class C motorhome measures 32’ 6” long and has one super slide-out on the driver’s side. The slide has a dinette, kitchen, bunk beds, and a wardrobe for the master bedroom.
The master has a queen-size bed, and you can access the full bathroom from it or the hallway. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living area, and the captain’s chair swivels around. Additionally, it has a drop-down bunk above the cab.
Kid-Friendly Features: The Redhawk 31F RV offers ample space for kids from the bunk beds to the bunk over the cab. And it doesn’t fall short on seating options with a large dinette and couch.
