They range from 36 feet 9 inches to 42 feet 11 inches, whereas the Luxe Elite units range from 40 feet 10 inches to almost 45 feet long. The new 46RKB might be over 46 feet long, but its measurements have yet to be determined. The Luxe Elite and Luxe Gold fifth wheel lines are both built with the same top-quality construction, high-quality hardwoods, and residential finishes.

A Breakdown of Luxe Elite Fifth Wheels
Let’s look closer at the Luxe Elite luxury fifth wheel options. The line has five floorplans. All but one has a front bedroom. The Luxe Elite 44FL features a front living area. Four of them also have a kitchen island with a double sink.
The Luxe Elite 46RKB has a peninsula instead. The heaviest fifth wheel is the 46RKB at 27,000 pounds. The other four units have a GVWR of 24,000 pounds. Regardless of which model you choose, you’ll need a heavy-duty truck like a Ford F-450 to haul these beasts.
Luxe Elite 39FB
Length: 40 feet 10 inches

CCC: approximately 6,000 pounds
Sleeps: Three to four
Features: The Luxe Elite 39FB features a large ensuite in the front bedroom. It has a washer and dryer hookup and a spacious closet. There’s a half bath for guests in the hallway and the traditional rear living/kitchen layout with theater seating, a sofa, a free-standing dinette, an entertainment center, and residential appliances. We love the ample countertop space in this luxury fifth wheel!
Luxe Elite 42RL

CCC: approximately 4,200 pounds

Features: The Luxe Elite 42RL features a very different layout in the front, with the king bed in the front cap and opposing slide-outs with dresser and wardrobe storage. One spacious bathroom has a washer and dryer hookup and a linen closet. The living/kitchen space is similar to the 39FB model, with theater seating, a sofa, a free-standing dinette, an entertainment center, and residential appliances. However, the range and refrigerator are flip-flopped. The 42RL still has plenty of countertop space for meal prep.
Luxe Elite 42MD

CCC: approximately 4,000 pounds

Features: The only Luxe Elite with a mid-bunk is the 42MD. This floorplan is ideal for families or remote workers. Because of this added room, the living space and countertop space are reduced. However, the mid-bunk room has a desk, closet, sofa, and washer and dryer hookup. We would like to see a larger bathroom in this unit because it’s small for a full-time family. The front bedroom is also smaller because of the mid-bunk room but still has a dresser and spacious closet.
Luxe Elite 44FL
Length: 44 feet 11 inches
GVWR: 24,000 pounds
CCC: approximately 2,300 pounds
Sleeps: Five to six
Features: The only front living floorplan in the Luxe Elite lineup is the 44FL. It also has the lowest cargo-carrying capacity. However, chefs will love the gourmet kitchen with its spacious design, kitchen island, plenty of countertop space, and ample overhead storage cabinets. The front living area has three seating locations and an entertainment center, ideal for travelers who enjoy hosting friends and family. We like that this model also has a half bath, so guests don’t have to walk through the rear bedroom to go to the restroom.
Luxe Elite 46RKB

Features: The Luxe Elite 46RKB features a unique layout with a rear kitchen and center living area. The kitchen has a bar area plus a dinette. It also has lots of countertop space and a peninsula. The living space has three seating areas across from an entertainment center. This layout is also ideal for travelers who enjoy hosting parties because of the open design between the kitchen and living space. The front bedroom has a spacious ensuite with a double vanity. There’s also a vanity slide option if owners prefer that design rather than a dresser at the foot of the bed.
How Much Are Luxe Elite Fifth Wheels?
The Luxe Elite fifth wheels start at $211,880 for the 39FB model and go up to $263,580 for the 46RKB model. However, these are starting prices. Because owners can select custom upgrades, the cost can increase substantially.
Owners can use the “Build You Own Luxe” tool to estimate the cost of their ideal luxury fifth wheel. For example, if you want to add a wine cooler, that’s $700. If you want to add a telvator, that’s $1,700. If you want a MorRyde sliding cargo tray installed, that’s $798. So you can build a Luxe luxury fifth wheel with all the amenities you like. Just be prepared to pay for those residential features.
Who Is the Luxe Elite Fifth Wheel Good For?
The Luxe Elite fifth wheels are designed for full-time travelers. If you’re a weekend warrior who visits the campground a few times a year to enjoy breaking free from your weekly routine, the features of the Luxe units are overkill. You don’t need washer and dryer hookups. You don’t need a gourmet kitchen.
But if you’re a full-time traveler willing to pay for quality, the Luxe Elite fifth wheels may be a good fit. They’re not the most ideal for families because there’s only one floorplan with a second room. But a unit would be an excellent home-on-wheels for a couple traveling for months at a time.
