Lilac Resort is located in Manitoba, Canada, at 37162 Lilac Lane in Ste Anne. It’s about 20 minutes east of Winnipeg, right off the Trans Canada #1.
If you enjoy golfing, it has five courses nearby: Oakwood Golf Course, Quarry Oaks Golf Course, Steinbach Golf Course, Giroux Salem Golf and Country Club, and La Verendry Golf Course.
If you prefer museums, Mennonite Heritage Village and Philip’s Magical Paradise are also close to the resort.
What Can You Do at Lilac Resort?
But you don’t have to leave Lilac Resort for entertainment. It has everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay in Manitoba. Let’s take a look at a few things you can do.
Camp at Manitoba Campground
Bring your RV or tent and stay overnight at Manitoba Campground. All RV sites have full hookups with 30-amp service, a fire pit, and a picnic table.
The tent sites have 15-amp service and access to drinking water. Some spots can accommodate rigs up to 40 feet in length. Depending on your campsite, you might have some shade or easy access to the sports courts and playground.

Stay Overnight in a Lodge or Cabin
If you don’t bring your RV or tent to Lilac Resort, it also has three lodging units. They sit in a wooded area near the pond. They can sleep up to six guests and have a full kitchen, bathroom, sun deck, air conditioning, fire pit, and picnic table.
The two lodges have two rooms, while the cabin offers one large room. Pets aren’t allowed in these units. But you do get daily maid service, free Wi-Fi, and cable TV.
Enjoy Dining On-Site
Lilac Resort also has on-site dining, a huge perk when visiting an unfamiliar area. You don’t have to go searching for food.
Instead, head to Willie’s Snack Shack for ice cream and slushies or the Tiki Juice Bar for appetizers and mocktails. Willie’s Donuts and Movie Snacks will announce its opening in the future.

How Much Does a Stay at Lilac Resort Cost?
Overnight camping from June to September costs $50 to $60 a night. Nightly rates from June to September cost $219 to $249. However, these rates are for two people. Anyone over the age of 3 is an additional $20 a night.
And visitors who don’t want to stay the night can purchase day passes. A water park pass costs $28, and a live entertainment pass is $25. Everyone over the age of 3 must have a day pass if not staying on the property.

Is Lilac Resort Near Any Canadian National Parks?
Lilac Resort isn’t close to any Canadian national parks. Riding Mountain National Park is the closest, but it’s over three hours northwest of the resort.
However, there you can find a few national historic sites near Winnipeg. You could visit the Reil House National Historic Site, the Forks National Historic Site, St. Andrew’s Rectory National Historic Site, or the Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site to learn more about the area’s culture and history.
