What Types of RVs Do They Make?
Keystone RV has focused its attention on the towable RV market. You won’t find any motorized RVs in its lineup, only travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and destination trailers. Keystone also makes campers for every budget.
There are entry-level “comfort” travel trailers to higher-end “premium” fifth-wheel toy haulers. All-in-all, Keystone has 16 lines, including the popular Montana fifth wheels, Bullet travel trailers, and Fuzion toy haulers.
What Is the Keystone Outback Ultra-Lite Series?
The Keystone Outback Ultra-Lite series is designed for owners of light-duty trucks.
These easy-to-tow travel trailers are lightweight and offer a variety of floorplans, from bunk beds to front kitchens to rear living spaces. As a result, this series has models for solo travelers, retired couples, and growing families.
The Keystone Outback Ultra-Lite Travel Trailer Lineup
The Keystone Outback Ultra-Lite travel trailer series ranges from 23 feet 4 inches to 34 feet 10 inches long.
Some will sleep up to six people, while the larger models can sleep up to ten. All these ultra-lite campers weigh under 7,300 pounds empty, and the maximum GVWR is 9,500 pounds.
Keystone Outback 210URS

Features: This Keystone Outback travel trailer features a huge rear slide with a king bed and front bunk beds. Even at this length, the 210URS has a separate booth dinette and sleeper sofa for ample seating and additional sleeping space.
There’s a full kitchen and full bathroom. An on-demand water heater, 15K BTU air conditioning unit, 35K BTU furnace, 10-cubic-foot two-way refrigerator, microwave, three-burner range and stove, and microwave all come standard.

Keystone Outback 221UMD

Features: The 221UMD offers plenty of interior space due to a super slide, which holds a sleeper sofa, pantry, refrigerator, and range/stove. A booth dinette and corner rear bathroom sit opposite the slide. The microwave sits above the sink along the rear of the unit.
The main bedroom sits in the front of this Keystone Outback and features a built-in pet kennel underneath the queen bed. The same appliances and utilities that come standard on the previous model come standard on this one.

Features: At over 28 feet in length, the 240URS already has ample interior space, but with the extension of the rear bedroom slide, there’s even more space.
This unit resembles the Keystone Outback 210URS with the rear king bed, sleeper sofa, and booth dinette. However, with the increased length, the front of the 2240URS features a large bunk room with a ramp door.
You can haul bikes, kayaks, an ATV, or other outdoor gear and easily unload once you’re at the campsite. Then, the kids have a huge playroom during the weekend.

Features: The Keystone Outback 244UBH also includes bunk beds. However, this floorplan is more traditional, with the front bedroom, center living area, and rear corner bunks next to the bathroom. These bunks are larger than the previous models at 55 by 74 inches.
There is no sofa in the 244UBH, but there is a booth dinette. Outside, a refrigerator and bike/cargo door sit in the rear.

Features: The first Keystone Outback over 30 feet is the 260UML. It features a large slide on the passenger side with a sleeper sofa and booth dinette. An L-shaped kitchen along the entire rear wall provides ample space for meal prep. Across from the sofa is an entertainment center with a 50-inch TV.
The full bathroom has two access doors, one from the main living area and another from the bedroom. The front bedroom has a queen bed, opposing wardrobes, and a built-in pet kennel underneath the bed.

Features: The Keystone Outback 271UFK has two slides, one in the rear bedroom and one in the main living space. The rear bedroom has a king bed, wardrobe, and dresser. It’s the largest bedroom among the Keystone Outback Ultra-Lite models.
This unit also has a dual-entry bathroom like the 260UML. The front L-shaped kitchen provides plenty of countertop space, and a sleeper sofa and booth dinette sit across from an entertainment center with an electric fireplace.

Keystone Outback 291UBH

Features: Another model with a bunk room is the 291UBH, which has 48 by 74-inch bunk beds in the rear. This Keystone Outback features a hidden pantry behind the entertainment center, which sits across from the sleeper sofa. A booth dinette conveniently sits across from the kitchen.
Barn doors separate the full bathroom from the living area and front bedroom. Like many other units, the 291UBH has a queen bed with side wardrobes and a built-in pet kennel. This unit also features an outside kitchen.

Keystone Outback 292URL

Features: At almost 34 feet long and with two opposing slides, the Keystone Outback 292URL offers the most interior space of any unit because it doesn’t have bunk beds. There’s a kitchen island, a sofa sleeper, theater seating, and a booth dinette for plenty of entertaining space.
Additionally, you’ll find both a curio cabinet and pantry in the kitchen for additional storage. The dual-entry bathroom can be accessed from the main living area and the front bedroom. Like the other units, the 292URL has a queen bed, side wardrobes, and a built-in pet kennel.

Features: Finally, the longest Keystone Outback Ultra-Lite travel trailer is the 302UBH. The L-shaped bunk room is ideal for families with three children. A booth dinette and sleeper sofa sit in the large slide across from the kitchen area.
The 302UBH features an electric fireplace below the entertainment center, a dual-entry bathroom, and a front bedroom. There’s an additional outdoor storage compartment in the rear of this unit, as well as an outside kitchen.

Who Is this Travel Trailer Good for?
As mentioned earlier, the Keystone Outback Ultra-Lite line is good for all types of travelers. A couple will find options for a comfortable cooking area.
A solo traveler will find options with enough entertaining space for friends. And a family will find options where everyone has their own bed without having to convert other spaces.
But even though this series is considered “premium” among the Keystone RV travel trailers, it’s designed for weekend camping use and not full-time living. You won’t find the residential finishes or higher-quality construction that you might see in the “luxury” lines.
So, if you want to enjoy weekend camping trips or even week-long vacations, the Keystone Outback Ultra-Lite travel trailer might be a good fit.
