The Keystone Cougar lineup was introduced in 1998, only a couple of years after Keystone hit the scene. It’s become one of the most popular models in the brand’s arsenal. In 2020, they manufactured their 200,000th Cougar. When you look at the options and specs, it’s easy to see why.

Where Is it Made?
Keystone’s headquarters is in Goshen, Indiana. The company has over a million square feet of manufacturing space in Goshen and Pendleton, Oregon. They opened their third plant in Goshen in 2021 due to the massive increase in demand.
When discussing the new plant, Scott Taylor, a Keystone RV product manager, told RV Pro it would “shorten lead times of pre-sold units that have already been ordered by our dealers and put us back in a stocking position sooner.” This is another example of how the company does whatever it takes to put customers first.

Features: The Keystone Cougar 22MLS features a massive king bed with a wardrobe closet and nightstand on each side. This unit features a single slide construction, which houses comfortable theater seating, a 12-volt refrigerator, and space for cooking on the stove or microwave.
Owners can choose between a booth dinette, which converts into extra sleeping space, or a free-standing dinette with chairs. A full bathroom sits at the rig’s rear to keep the area open. For being one of the smallest units in the lineup, Keystone packs quite a bit into its 27 feet.

Features: The Keystone Cougar 25RDS features one of the largest rear dinettes you’ll ever see. This makes it easy to host friends and family or to spend time inside on those rainy days. Seating space isn’t in short supply, and you’ll likely have plenty of room to spread out.
Other key features of the 25RDS include the large L-shaped countertop space and a private bedroom.

This may not be a problem for those who don’t mind using a campground shower and restroom. On the other hand, if you’re not at a full hookup site, the 30-gallon black water tank could get full quickly.
