If you’ve taken a few trips around the campground, you’ve probably come across numerous RVs with the brand Jayco printed on the front.
The company makes popular models like the North Point fifth wheel, Greyhawk Class C motorhome, and lightweight Jay Feather Micro trailer.
Today, we want to dive into the Jayco White Hawk line, briefly looking at each of the eight 2024 floorplans. Whether you’re a solo traveler or a family of five, there’s a layout that might work for you.

Who Is Jayco?
Jayco RV is one of the most recognized names in the RV industry. In 1968, Lloyd Bontrager founded Jayco with his innovative lifter system for pop-up campers.
But over the decades, Jayco has extended its products to include other towables and motorized options.
You’ll find travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, Class As, Class Bs, and Class Cs in the Jayco lineup today.
Who Owns Jayco?
In 2016, Thor Industries acquired Jayco RV for $576 million. Until then, Jayco was the world’s largest privately owned RV manufacturer.
Thor Industries, an RV empire, owns 16 North American RV brands, including Jayco, Keystone, Airstream, Tiffin, and Entegra.
Thor also owns 12 other North American companies, 16 European caravan manufacturers, and five other European companies.
What Is the Jayco White Hawk?
Jayco has seven travel trailer lines. These range from the lightweight 18-foot Jayco Jay Flight SLX to the 45-foot 5-inch Jayco Flight Bungalow park model.
The Jayco White Hawk line starts at $54,801, has eight floorplans, and sleeps up to ten people. The length ranges from 30 feet 8 inches to 38 feet, and the weight ranges from 6,195 to 8,200 pounds.
This particular travel trailer line is ideal for ½ ton and ¾ ton trucks.
A Breakdown of the Jayco White Hawk
All Jayco White Hawk floorplans feature at least one slide-out, providing increased interior space.
While this line used to offer Murphy bed options, which you can find in older models, the new 2024 lineup doesn’t include this particular floorplan.
All eight layouts feature a dedicated sleeping space. Let’s look more closely at each floorplan.
Jayco White Hawk 26FK

The Jayco White Hawk 26FK is the only unit with a rear bedroom.
The large L-shaped kitchen in the front offers plenty of countertop space and easy access to the adjacent booth dinette.
A sofa sits next to the dinette across from an entertainment center. A full bathroom is in the hallway leading to the rear bedroom, which features a king bed with many storage options.
The 21-foot awning provides ample shade for your outdoor space.
Jayco White Hawk 27RB

If you prefer a larger bathroom, the Jayco White Hawk 27RB may be a great option.
The rear bathroom fills the entire length of the unit and has a large vanity with a linen closet and medicine cabinet. On the opposite end of the unit is the bedroom with a queen bed and two small wardrobes.
The center of the trailer features a large U-shaped dinette beside a tri-fold sofa. The kitchen is smaller than the 26FK but still has all the appliances you need for a weekend camping trip.
This model has a 19-foot awning and an outside kitchen with a small fridge and griddle.
Jayco White Hawk 27RK

If you like the large L-shaped kitchen of the 26FK but need more space, the Jayco White Hawk 27RK offers a rear version.
There’s also a large pantry, entertainment center, and electric fireplace in addition to the booth dinette and tri-fold sofa.
The bathroom is down the hall towards the bedroom, with a queen bed and three small wardrobes.
We like the addition of the third wardrobe at the foot of the bed. Outside is a 20-foot awning and a griddle.
Jayco White Hawk 29BH

The Jayco White Hawk 29BH is ideal for families or grandparents who like to bring their grandchildren camping.
Like the 27RB, the front bedroom has a queen bed and side wardrobes. But the rear of the unit has double over double bunks with storage underneath.
The bathroom is also next to the bunks for easy access for the kids. The center of the 29BH is very similar to the 27RB with the U-shaped dinette, tri-fold sofa, smaller kitchen, entertainment center, and electric fireplace.
There’s a 21-foot awning and outdoor kitchen with a small fridge and griddle.
Jayco White Hawk 29RL

The first of the Jayco White Hawk trailers with two sofas is the 29RL.
If you’re looking for a larger living space because you like to entertain, this is an ideal model.
There’s theater seating along the rear wall, a tri-fold sofa and booth dinette in a slide-out on the driver’s side, and an entertainment center with electric fireplace and L-shaped kitchen on the other side.
The front bedroom has the standard queen bed with two wardrobes. Outside is a 20-foot awning and griddle.
We also want to note that there are two entries to the Jayco White Hawk 26RL – one leading into the living space and one leading into the bedroom.
Jayco White Hawk 32BH

The Jayco White Hawk 32BH and 32QBH are the two best options for families who camp often.
They provide the most sleeping space and living space for a comfortable getaway for four or more people.
The 32BH features a rear bunk room with two top bunks, a sleeper sofa, and an entertainment center. There’s also a half bathroom. In the center of the trailer is a tri-fold sofa, a booth dinette, an entertainment center, and an L-shaped kitchen.
We like the addition of the flip-up countertop extension for more prep space. A full bathroom is in the hallway, and the bedroom has a queen bed and three wardrobes like the 27RK. This trailer has two awnings and an outdoor griddle.
Jayco White Hawk 32QBH

The Jayco White Hawk 32QBH is the same length as the 32BH model but has a different bunk room layout with L-shaped bunks rather than opposing bunks.
There are three bunk beds and a sofa, a wardrobe, and a cargo door leading to the outside. The center of this unit is also different from the 32BH model.
This trailer has a kitchen island, entertainment center with electric fireplace, booth dinette, and tri-fold sofa. The front of the unit with the bathroom and bedroom is the same.
The 32QBH also has the two awnings and outdoor griddle.
Jayco White Hawk 32RL

The only other model with a kitchen island is the Jayco White Hawk 32RL. If you’re looking for the traditional fifth wheel layout, this unit may be the best for your needs.
There’s a tri-fold sofa against the rear wall, theatre seating and a booth dinette in a slide-out along the passenger side, and an entertainment center with electric fireplace and all the kitchen appliances in a slide-out along the driver’s side.
We love the additional hutch that provides more countertop and storage space. The bathroom and front bedroom are similar to the 32QBH and 32BH models.
The 32RL also has two awnings and an outdoor griddle.
Who Is the Jayco White Hawk Good For?
Because the eight floorplans are different, the Jayco White Hawk lineup could be right for a solo traveler, couple, or family.
With three bunk bed options, families of three, four, or more will find a layout that can provide adequate sleeping space.
If you like to entertain, the 32RL and 29RL offer plenty of room. And those who prefer to cook rather than eat out will love the large kitchens in the 26FK and 27RK.
Is Jayco A Good Brand?
While Jayco has been in the RV industry for over 50 years, it’s not bullet-proof. You’ll have problems with your White Hawk trailer just like any other RV. So be prepared to handle repairs and understand that this is part of RV ownership.
However, because of its reputation and experience, Jayco is well-respected. The White Hawk is a solid entry-level travel trailer for RVers who want to hit the local campground during the summer. You’ll have to decide, though – is it the right line for you?
