It’s a popular model from an established name in the industry. With multiple floorplans and plenty of options, you may see why many RVers love it.
Today, we’re breaking down the Jayco Eagle so you can see which option works best for you. Let’s get started!
About Jayco
As we mentioned, Jayco is one of the industry’s most established and famous names. Lloyd Bontrager founded the company in 1968.
It manufactures travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, and toy haulers. Thor Industries purchased Jayco in 2016, and it continues to operate as a subsidiary.
The company prides itself on its innovative designs and construction techniques. With a commitment to excellence and customer service, they’ve earned respect from consumers. Generation after generation continues to trust Jayco to help them make camping memories.
About the Jayco Eagle Travel Trailer
The Jayco Eagle is one of the most popular RVs manufactured by Jayco. Each year it continues to refine and offer some of the best features customers want. Over time, these changes have resulted in a luxurious and comfortable experience for campers.
The Eagle offers a variety of residential-style floorplans perfect for various situations. Models range from 35 to 40 feet and weigh between 8,000 and 10,700 pounds. They even have options that can sleep up to 10 people.
Where Is the Jayco Eagle Travel Trailer Made?
Jayco has multiple facilities that produce Jayco Eagles, but the primary facilities are in Middlebury, Indiana. This is just a few miles away from the RV capital of the world, Elkhart, Indiana.
This location allows them to work closely with other brands in the industry to keep costs and manufacturing times to a minimum.
The Jayco Eagle Travel Trailer Lineup
There are several options in the Jayco Eagle travel trailer lineup. Let’s look at some of the great models you may consider.
Jayco Eagle 330RSTS
MSRP: $79,928
Sleeps: Six
Length: 40 feet 1 inch
Weight: 10,665 pounds
Features: The 330RSTS is an excellent floorplan. It features a mid-entry with opposing massive slides in the main living space. This creates considerable room in the kitchen, dining, and living areas.
The large island in the kitchen makes meal prep a breeze. You also have enough room to move around and sleeping space for six. Another great feature is the enormous king-size bed in the primary bedroom.
Our only critique of this model is that it has a single bathroom. If you load up with six people, expect a line to form for the toilet. However, this is a minor issue since it only has one primary sleeping space.
This rig could work great for grandparents who want to bring their grandkids on occasional adventures.
Jayco Eagle 332CBOK
MSRP: $81,555
Sleeps: Four
Length: 40 feet 1 inch
Weight: 10,725 pounds
Features: The 332CBOK is another incredibly open floorplan built for full-time living. While it may only sleep four, it has seating for 10. You can even have your friends over for a fun night or to watch the big game.
Jayco truly outdid itself with the 332CBOK and how it used the space. It has a corner sink at the rear with massive windows. This allows you to enjoy the view while cleaning up after meals.
Additionally, the enormous residential fridge gives you plenty of room to bring just about anything you could need for your meals.
The Jayco Eagle HT Travel Trailer Lineup
The Jayco Eagle HT travel trailers are substantially cheaper than the other Eagles in the lineup.
However, they’re built to the same quality standards. Let’s look at these campers and see what you may like about them.
Jayco Eagle HT 280RSOK
MSRP: $59,498
Sleeps: Six
Length: 35 feet 7 inches
Weight: 8,430 pounds
Features: The Jayco Eagle HT 280RSOK has a front bedroom with a queen-size bed. We love that it has an actual door to allow for optimal privacy.
Jayco uses the rear portion of the trailer to wrap the seating around the back edges. With seating for 10, you won’t have to worry about running out of places to sit.
The opposing slides create room between the seating and meal prep areas. We love the massive island and how it provides plenty of room for doing dishes, preparing meals, and serving them.
This is an excellent rig for a couple looking to travel full-time. It has massive storage throughout and washer and dryer hookups in the bedroom closet. No more having to sit in shady laundromats to get your clothes clean.
Jayco Eagle HT 284BHOK
MSRP: $57,941
Sleeps: Eight
Length: 34 feet 11 inches
Weight: 8,040 pounds.
Features: The 284BHOK has a main entrance towards the rear of the trailer. Immediately to your left, it has a set of bunk beds and a large bathroom a few steps away.
The bathroom has one of the largest countertops in a trailer this size. And the U-shaped dinette ensures everyone has a comfy spot to enjoy meals and play games.
One major critique of this unit is that it’s missing counter space. It doesn’t have an island, making serving and preparing meals difficult.
However, the outdoor kitchen allows you to take meal prep outside. In addition, the single bathroom will get very crowded if you squeeze eight individuals into this unit.
Jayco Eagle HT 294CKBS
MSRP: $63,008
Sleeps: Six
Length: 38 feet
Weight: 9,215 pounds
Features: When you walk into the 294CKBS, you immediately see the bathroom in front of you and the main bedroom to your right. However, this 38-foot trailer feels massive with the opposing slides opened.
The dining table and theater seating built into the slide open a lot of space. You’ll have plenty of room to move around on those rainy days when Mother Nature forces you inside.
Keep in Mind: Before you hit the road in your travel trailer, make sure you have these Travel Trailer Accessories!
Jayco Eagle HT 312BHOK
MSRP: $65,175
Sleeps: 10
Length: 38 feet 9 inches
Weight: 9,620 pounds
Features: The 312BHOK proves families can take the Jayco Eagle HT lineup seriously. This beast can sleep 10. Everywhere you look, you’ll see seating and space that converts to sleeping areas.
The rear bunkhouse is a phenomenal addition. We’re also a fan of the outside kitchen, making it easier to keep the cooking heat out of your living space.
However, like many in the Jayco Eagle HT lineup, it needs a second bathroom and more counter space. Trying to cram 10 people into this trailer with only one bathroom may pose a challenge. This can be a great option if you enjoy staying in campgrounds with restroom facilities.
Jayco Eagle HT 320FBOK
MSRP: $60,743
Sleeps: Six
Length: 38 feet
Weight: 8,900 pounds
Features: If you’re a couple looking to travel full-time or enjoy seasonal adventures, don’t overlook this model. This rig features just about every residential feature you could need.
It has an enormous living space and a rear bathroom featuring a large wardrobe closet with hookups for a washer and dryer. You’ll feel like you’re in a tiny apartment, not an RV.
Jayco prioritized storage in this rig by offering massive storage spaces like the pantry and multiple closets. This can allow you to bring belongings without dealing with clutter. You’ll have a place to store your gear.
