However, the designs and aesthetics of the inTech trailers are unique. They don’t look like your traditional lineup. Instead, they have a European flair with a tilt-forward exterior.
Adam Maxwell and Tom Franko founded inTech in 2010. The company emphasized quality and innovation and quickly expanded to the motorsports industry with its car haulers. In 2016, inTech added travel trailers to their lineup. Based in Nappanee, Indiana, inTech RV employs about 200 people and has a 160,000-square-foot facility.

What Types Of Campers Does inTech Manufacture?
inTech RV manufactures a wide range of travel trailers. Micro-lite options have a GVWR of 2,200 pounds, and mid-sized units with a GVWR of 8,500 pounds. Some are toy haulers that enable owners to bring their outdoor toys like dirt bikes or ATVs.
There are five lines: the Flyer, Luna, Sol, Terra, and O-V-R. The Luna is a teardrop line, while the O-V-R is an adventure trailer. The Flyer is also an adventure trailer line but in a much smaller package than the O-V-R. The Sol and Terra are sleek travel trailers, with the Terra offering larger sizes than the Sol.
What Makes inTech Campers Unique?
We mentioned that inTech campers aren’t your traditional travel trailers. One thing that makes them unique is how they’re constructed. The cage frame is all aluminum and fully welded, making it durable and strong.
inTech RVs are built to last and travel over any terrain. Because aluminum is also rust-resistant, inTech RVs don’t rust, adding to their durability and longevity.
You won’t find staples or screws connecting walls to the chassis. inTech’s fully-welded frame eliminates twists or structural weaknesses owners experience in traditional travel trailers. This process makes inTech RVs more expensive but better quality.
These frames are also lightweight, which means some owners can use the SUV or light-duty truck they already have without needing to spend additional money on a heavy-duty truck. One of the smallest units, the Flyer Chase, has a GVWR of just 2,200 pounds. Even a larger unit like the Sol Horizon, which offers a 6-foot, 6-inch interior headroom and 19-foot exterior length, has a GVWR of only 4,000 pounds.
Finally, the overall look of the larger fiberglass inTech RVs is unique. They feature a tilt-forward front, which provides additional interior space. When you see an inTech Sol, Terra, or Luna traveling down the road, it’s easily recognizable with the proprietary design.
All About the inTech Sol Horizon
The inTech Sol Horizon is one of the four trailers in the Sol lineup. The Horizon and Dusk sleep up to four, while the Eclipse and Dawn sleep only two. The inTech Sol Horizon features a giant front windshield, providing excellent views from the dinette. This space can accommodate up to five adults. In the rear is the 60-inch by 80-inch master bed.
Additional features include a 10-foot awning, a power tongue jack, a Rover roof rack, an exterior slide-out kitchen, a sizeable wet bath, and ample storage for a weekend getaway. The luxurious inside kitchen has a farmhouse sink with a commercial-grade faucet, a 2-burner propane stove, a 4.5-cubic-foot 12V compressor fridge, and a microwave.
The inTech Sol Horizon has a 16K BTU furnace, an on-demand water heater, and a 15K air conditioner with a soft start. There’s one black and gray tank combined in this inTech trailer. It’s 32 gallons. The freshwater tank is 28 gallons.
Owners can add inTech’s solar and lithium package to the base or rover package. This add-on provides 300 watts of solar, an MPPT charger controller, 200 amp hours of lithium batteries, and a 2,000-watt inverter. The inTech Sol Horizon has a starting MSRP of $42,539.

Features: The rover package is an upgrade from the base package. It includes rugged decals, a tongue tie-down rack, a 3-inch lift, blackout wheels, 235/75R15 tires with Aggressive Tread, and an aluminum tube rear bumper.
There are only two exterior colors in the inTech Sol Horizon rover package: red and silver.
What Other Models Are In the inTech Sol Lineup?
The inTech Sol lineup also includes the Dawn, Eclipse, and Dusk.
The Sol Dawn is the smallest option but still includes a wet bath, kitchen, and large dinette with the iconic Sol panoramic windshield. It sleeps two and has an MSRP starting at $36,463.
The Sol Eclipse reverses the layout of the Sol Dawn. A U-shaped dinette is in the rear, and the kitchen is in the front. In this unit, the panoramic windshield stretches across the kitchen countertop. It also sleeps two, has a wet bath, and has an MSRP starting at $38,650.
The largest unit in the inTech Sol lineup is the Dusk. It’s about 20 inches longer than the Sol Horizon, but the layout is similar. The Sol Dusk features a versatile rear lounge that can convert into twin beds or one large king bed. It sleeps up to four and has an MSRP starting at $44,940.
Is the inTech Sol Horizon Right For You?
The inTech Sol Horizon isn’t for everyone. It’s only 19 feet long and doesn’t have amenities like a dry bath, residential fridge, or kitchen island that larger units provide.
But if you’re looking for a compact travel trailer built with quality construction that will last for years, it’s an excellent option.
