It’s easy to see celebrities on TV or the internet and forget they’re just ordinary people. Many have hobbies and enjoy spending time outside, just like the rest of us.

That’s why we’re excited to see some celebrities embracing #rvlife. They’re getting out into nature and away from the chaos.

Today, we’re taking a look at five celebrities who own RVs.

Let’s dive in!

RVing Is for Everyone, Including Celebrities

Just because someone is famous doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy camping or spending time outside. In addition, camping isn’t a hobby that’s just for ordinary folks like us. It’s something that everyone from all different lifestyles and tax brackets can do.

Everyone from actors in Hollywood to musicians in Nashville, RVing is for everyone, including celebrities. Don’t make the mistake that just because someone is famous, they’re not willing to roast hot dogs over a fire, pitch a tent in the woods, or go a day or two without showering. You never know who you might be setting up camp next to!

How Much Does a Luxury RV Cost?

No matter what type of RV you buy these days, it won’t be cheap. Although, luxury RVs are on a whole different level, especially regarding pricing. Many of these models come with price tags that are more than most people’s houses.

Over the last several years, a luxury RV was anything over $40,000. Unfortunately, these days, it would be challenging to find a single camper under this price at many dealerships.

As a result, many consider luxury RVs to be anything over $100,000. On the other hand, it’s essential to realize that some units can cost several million dollars. The amount of luxury in the unit will significantly determine its price. Class A motorhomes will be the most expensive recreational vehicles on the market.

5 Celebrities Who Own RVs

So, what celebrities have jumped onto the RV ownership bandwagon? We’ve found several that have shared their rigs with the public. Watch for these rigs if you’re hoping to camp next to a celebrity.

Jason Momoa

Jason Momoa is the star of the “Aquaman” films and the proud owner of an EarthRomer XV-LTi 026. Because these custom truck campers are for rugged and off-road conditions, you’ll rarely see them in campgrounds. Besides, that didn’t stop Momoa from driving it to the premier for his movie.

The EarthRoamer XV-LTi 026 purchased by Mr. Momoa came with an approximately $750,000 price tag. Despite this, the EarthRoamer isn’t any ordinary truck camper. It has a king-size bed, an induction cooktop, and a Nespresso machine. It also comes with 95 gallons of fuel storage and can be entirely self-sufficient while enjoying off-grid camping.

Mariah Carey

To call Mariah Carey’s motorhome an RV is an understatement. The impressive mobile home was designed by the luxury team Anderson Mobile Estates. This 1,200-square-foot trailer came with a $1.8 million bill of sale. It’s a two-story trailer that requires a semi to haul it wherever she goes.

Some impressive luxury features include a 65-inch TV, marble floors, and a 15-foot sofa. Take a trip to the second story and get a full nightclub-style lounge. Who doesn’t need these when camping, right?

While Mariah probably isn’t hauling this to any state parks or RV resorts, it’s an incredible sight. She’s likely setting it up for productions and other areas where she’ll remain in one place for an extended time.

Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt is another celebrity with an incredibly luxurious RV designed by King Kong Production Vehicles. This 48-foot beast has four slide-outs that expand to create a massive open living space. While there are few details about its features, we did discover that Pitt’s kitchen alone cost $60,000, and the unit contains a 10-foot leather sofa.

As you can imagine, it comes with state-of-the-art technologies and appliances. It’s believed that Pitt purchased this trailer in 2010 and lived in it during the summer of 2011 as he filmed the movie Moneyball.

Will Smith

The Heat, designed by Anderson Mobile Estates, proves that Will Smith has come a long way from his days in West Philadelphia. This 2.5 million giant serves as his home away from home while filming.

Step inside this home on wheels, and you’ll need to use your toes to count the number of TVs inside. If you’re curious, it’s 14. Yes, you read that right! Smith has 14 flat-screen TVs throughout this incredible RV.

In addition to plenty of televisions, Smith has a gym, lounge, and seating capacity for 30 people. One of our favorite features is the paparazzi-blocking blackout shades, which provide privacy for him, his family, and others inside this 1,200-square-foot camper.

Miranda Lambert

Country music star Miranda Lambert travels the country in massive tour buses worth millions of dollars. Nevertheless, she took to Instagram to share about the new Airstream Globetrotter she purchased. She and her husband nicknamed it “The Sheriff.” She doesn’t mention which model she chose, but she likely paid between $95,000 and $130,000 for the unit.

While we don’t know about the model, we do know she has used it well. The couple used the trailer to travel the country and see some incredible sights while she wasn’t traveling in 2020. A year later, she posted an update, and they were back on the road.

Lambert posted they stayed in the rig in a local KOA. Imagine waking up at the campsite next to one of country music’s biggest stars. It would be an incredible experience!

Could a Celebrity Be Your Next Camping Neighbor?

Unfortunately, the chances aren’t good that you’ll have a celebrity camping neighbor. And yet, the chances aren’t zero. So don’t give up hope! If you do end up camping next to someone famous, make sure you’re respectful and give them their space. They’re normal humans with black tanks to empty, just like the rest of us RVers.
